I can't turn these down, it's a weakness. No bikini for me if I keep doing this!!

Today I had a fun afternoon at the mall with a very good friend of mine. She had me in tears because I was laughing so much. I love hanging out with her. I admire her for being so strong and going through something that I'm not sure I could. Only by the grace of God has she been able to endure and I'm thankful that she's continued to press on and trust in the Lord daily. Thanks for being such a good friend and for helping me see the humor in everything!

Tonight was date night. Yes, I posted more than one photo but I had to...and I can because it's my blog. We went out to dinner with some friends of ours. We really love this place because the food is good and the atmosphere is fun. When we got there, we found out that it was our friend, Nate's birthday. Happy Birthday!! After we had dinner, we ran some errands without the kids. It's a good thing because it was only 9°. Right now it's 0.3°...Crazy!!!

In my haste to finish the dishes before my husband got home, I didn't notice my measuring spoons in the garbage disposal. Good thing I'm a Pampered Chef Consultant!

This morning I needed to do something, so I put Joshua in his crib and told Evan to entertain him. When I came back a few minutes later, this is what I found...Joshua...buried! He was having fun though.

When there's nothing else to do...

It's 20° outside and the boys are restless. Unfortunately, most of the Christmas toys have lost their pizazz and the newness is starting to wear off. So, what else is there to play with??? Water bottles!! It's been going on for 30 minutes now and there is no sign of stopping. The boys are actually playing together...well, side by side anyway. It's a little noisy in here but they aren't hanging onto my pant leg. We are all content.

Tonight I made PW's (Pioneer Woman's) Angel Sugar Cookies. They were heavenly! The guys were fighting over the last (cooled) cookie before bed. Even though they were smiling, their competitiveness was about to come out! All I could say was Yum!!

Another goal of mine...

Another goal of mine is to cook my way through The Pioneer Woman's cookbook in a year. Today I made Marlboro Man's favorite sandwich. It was so good, they were speechless! I will be keeping track of my progress on http://bethandree.blogspot.com
